ABOUT US
The Grasso family has very distant roots in commerce, dating back to the late 1800s. In 1932, Mr. Giacomo Grasso, son of the founder Marziano Grasso fu Stefano, specialized in the wholesale trade of grains and fertilizers at the historic headquarters located at Via Luigi Pagliani 28 in Genola. The business began to see new market opportunities by selling goods also through the Chambers of Commerce of Cuneo and Turin, leading to the opening of a second warehouse at Via Pagliani 55.
In 1972, with the arrival of his son Marziano Grasso, the business expanded into neighboring European countries, as well as its storage facilities, with the development of operations at the headquarters in Via Mellea 1.
Since 2011, Mr. Marziano’s activity has been supported by the fourth generation, his sons Manuele and Mattia, who continue with the “old school” approach, and today the company carries out trading with import/export of cereals.
In 2013, our company was awarded a gold medal for dedication to work for over 80 years.
