Late 1800s

The Grasso family was already engaged in trade.

1932

Mr. Giacomo Grasso, son of the founder Marziano Grasso fu Stefano, specialized in the wholesale trade of grains and fertilizers at the historic headquarters located at Via Luigi Pagliani 28 in Genola. The business identified new market opportunities by selling goods also through the Chambers of Commerce of Cuneo and Turin, which led to the opening of a second warehouse at Via Pagliani 55.

1972

With the arrival of his son Marziano Grasso, the business expanded into neighboring European countries, and the storage facilities also grew with the development of operations at the headquarters located at Via Mellea 1.

2011

Mr. Marziano’s business is supported by the fourth generation, his sons Manuele and Accountant Mattia, who continue with the “old school” approach, and today the company carries out trading through the import/export of cereals.
